CINDY: PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHER – PORTRAITS PORTFOLIO
Cindy Lee (Principal of Studio 4 Photography)
Most photographers are keen to express that they were born camera-in-hand and that they are driven by a passion for taking photos, however, I am the first to admit that my interest lies more in people.
Photography as a profession has afforded me the privilege of listening and learning the stories of so many people and for that I am grateful.
I am driven by the innate need to build strong relationships and bring out the best in the people I photograph, to pay attention to the contexts they are most comfortable in and the moments they experience. For this reason, it is important to me as Principal of Studio 4 Photography that my team and I ensure that our Clients enjoy every second of their experience with us, (even to the point where they forget they are in front of a camera and can relax and just be emerged in the moment).
I have been fortunate enough over the past 11 years to recruit some amazingly talented professionals and pass on what I have learned about working with people so you can be sure that whether your special moments are documented by myself, or an another member of our team, you’ll be in the hands of a professional with the skills to show you at your absolute best.
Our studio is run differently to others you might have worked with and that is because my background is business is a little unexpected. Prior to opening the studio in 2006, I was a qualified Architect working on some very large projects.
During my time as an Architect, I was responsible for multi-million dollar projects, in the delivery of which it was a priority on time and have quality control measures in place to ensure the best possible outcome. I worked in a multi-disciplinary team where thinking laterally and working within a team was paramount. These are all experiences that I drew upon when building the Studio 4 Photography team as you know it today.
I can’t wait to meet you and to learn your story.
