My interest in photography turned into an obsession when I became aware of the importance of keeping memories alive. It has been a recurring theme throughout my life and I can vividly recall visiting my grandmother and the endless source of fascination that her Duchess (covered with family photographs in mismatched frames) were to me. I loved imagining the stories of the people in those frames, much younger versions of the people I loved. My history.

Fast forward to the beginning of my professional photography career (20 years ago) which began with a photographic traineeship. I spent the first part of that traineeship in a dark room learning how to process film and making prints earning my stripes. Although everything we work with is digital now, as the head Designer at the Studio those skills still come in handy every single day when we think about how we will bring the best out in the images that the photographers have captured. It is such a rewarding to help people put their stories together.

I’m now a mum of two little boys and the memories brought back by the photograph I have taken of them has re-enforced the importance of beautiful pictures in the life of any family. That’s why I’m totally committed to making sure that your family memories are preserved and beautifully presented as well.
