Studio 4 Photography Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long do Photography Sessions Take?
    • 90 minutes for Newborn Session (this includes time for feeding)
    • 45 minutes for Maternity, Tummy Time, Sitter and 12 Month Milestone Sessions
    • 45 minutes for Headshot Sessions
    • 90 minutes for Personal Branding and Business Lifestyle Sessions
    • 30 minutes for Makeup Sessions

 

  • I am or another participant in the session is unwell.  Can I reschedule ?

Yes !  When you, or other participants are sick you will be able to see it in the photos because “the eyes will show it “.  We ask that you reschedule your session if anyone attending is unwell as we need to ensure that infections aren’t spread through the studio.  Many of our clients are vulnerable so we ask that you do not come to sessions if you are sick (this includes cases of hayfever and time where there might be immunisations or teething issues that day).

  • Can I book a weekend session ? 

Saturday photography sessions require a weekend booking fee of $110.  We do not open on Sunday or on Public Holidays.

  • Can you travel to me for my session ?

Due to the popularity of the portraiture programs we run at our studio, our session times are in high demand and we are generally not able to travel to clients.  All sessions are conducted either at our Cleveland studio, or at either Fellmonger Park Hilliards Creek or Raby Bay Beach for location sessions.

  • Can you send me an online gallery to choose images ?

We can do better than that !  We will arrange an online appointment for you with your Designer to go through the images.We have found online galleries with watermarked images too overwhelming for our clients so we have made the process much easier using great visualisation software which we can share with you via Zoom.

  • I forgot I booked a Photography Session or Viewing Premier and either didn’t turn up or gave less than 48hrs notice.  Can I reschedule the session ?

With sickness the exception, in the instance that we are given less than 48hrs notice of a session needing to postpone or be cancelled in order to rebook the session you will be required to pay a $25 rebooking fee upfront to secure the new session time.  This is because with less than 48hrs notice it is very difficult for us to offer the session to another client.

  • Can I book more than one Viewing Premier per session and can I change my mind after my Viewing Premier

We only hold one Viewing Premier per Session.  Please ensure all decision makers are present as being a custom product we can not make changes to your order once it is placed.

  • Can you show me how the images will look on my wall together ?

Your Designer is an expert at helping you and will be there to give you excellent customer service and assist with any sizing and product questions you might have.Yes the software we use for your viewing can simulate how your images will look as beautiful art pieces on your wall.  Just take a photo of the wall you are thinking of and send it through to us via email before your Image Premier.  Your Designer can then use this image to create a simulation for you.

  • I have ordered a printed product from my session. How do I arrange the collection ?

When your printed product arrives at the studio we will be in touch to let you know you can come collect it.  We will hold onto the printed product for you for 30 days.  If you are unable to come to the studio to collect we can arrange a courier for you.  A flat rate of $25 applies for delivery within Queensland (out of state delivery will be price upon application).

Watch Me Grow Program Frequently Asked Questions

  • My baby arrived before I could come to my booked Maternity Session.  Can I redeem our first Watch Me GrowSession as a different milestone for the baby ?

Over the time we have been running Watch Me Grow we have had situations where families who were booked for a Maternity Session had their baby arrive earlier than expected (resulting in the family missing out on capturing their Maternity stage).  In this circumstance we are happy to exchange your Maternity Session for a Tummy Time Milestone Session so that you can still have 4 Watch Me Grow Milestones on your wall.  This is also the case if you decide that you would prefer not to have a Maternity Session and would rather focus the package on your baby’s development.

  • I don’t think I have anything to wear for the Maternity Session.  Do you have gowns I can use ?

Yes we have a large collection of gowns that you are welcome to use for your session.  The range includes flowy drapes, body contour dresses, infinity dresses, loose fabric, and oversized shirts.  We have a range of colours and textures.

Something to consider is if you have a maternity dress from your baby shower that you would like to remember to bring that along.

  • Can other family members join in on our Watch Me Grow Sessions ?

Absolutely ! We encourage you to bring those family members special to you along to the Milestone Sessions to be photographed with bubba.  We love seeing partners or parents joining Mumma at the Maternity Session too !  Parents, grandparents, siblings, step siblings, aunties, uncles and godparents are all welcome to come along to Milestone Sessions.

  • The Watch Me Grow Base Package ($660) includes an 8″x 12″ print from 4 QTY milestone sessions.  Can I redeem all 4 of my 8″x12″ prints from a single session instead of coming to the other sessions ?

The Watch Me Grow Base Package has been designed specifically to capture the milestones of your pregnancy and baby’s development and produce a collection of 4 beautiful prints for your wall to show your families progress over a year.  It is not possible to redeem the prints included in the package on a single session.  We are very firm for this package that it be 1 QTY 8″x12 per session.  If you are looking for a single session with different options for product we recommend purchasing a different package.  

  • Can I purchase more than is what is in the Watch Me Grow Base Package?

Your package is as big or as small as you want to make it.  We will spend around 45 minutes photographing for you and will showcase around 30 images for you at your Image Premier with your Designer.  You are not in any way obliged to purchase more than what is in the Watch Me Grow Base Package.  If you want to upgrade we do have options and the emails we have sent you will have clickable links to add-ons if you decide you would like to upgrade.

  • I have ordered a printed product from my session. How do I arrange the collection ?

When your printed product arrives you are welcome to collect from our studio or we can arrange for it to be couriered to you.  We charge a flat rate of $25 for orders within queensland.
